Product Specific Information
Reconstitute in 100 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
The MC192 antibody is supplied in lyophilized form from Protein G-purified hybridoma cell culture supernatants.
The lyophilized antibody is stable when stored at 2–8°C or -20°C.
After reconstitution, undiluted aliquots should be kept at -20°C for up to six months.
For additional stability, glycerol (1:1) may be added after reconstitution.
Avoid repetitive freeze/thaw cycles.
Target Information
Neurotrophic factors control the survival, differentiation, and maintenance of neurons in the peripheral and central nervous systems, and other neural crest-derived cell types.
Developing sympathetic neurons are dependent upon nerve growth factor (NGF) during target competition in vivo.
Antibodies specific to NGFR p75 are valuable tools for detection and characterization of NGFR p75, aiding studies on neuronal development, plasticity, and repair.
