- Predicted to react with non-human primate and mouse based on sequence homology.
- On non-reducing gel, intact IgG appears as ~150 kDa band; upon reduction, generates ~25 kDa light chain and ~50 kDa heavy chain.
- Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened for optimal candidates.

Target Information
Apolipoprotein E (ApoE) is essential in plasma lipid metabolism and is a component of various lipoprotein-lipid particles. It is synthesized in the liver, brain, spleen, and kidney, with high concentrations in interstitial fluids. ApoE facilitates cholesterol transport between cells and is crucial in the formation of very low-density lipoproteins and chylomicrons. The ApoE gene is located on chromosome 19 at position 19q13.2.
