Target Information
Vinculin (VCL)은 세포-세포 및 세포-세포외기질 접착연접(adherens junction)에 관련된 세포골격 단백질입니다. F-actin을 세포막에 고정시키는 여러 상호작용 단백질 중 하나로 작용하며, integrin의 β 서브유닛이 talin에 결합하고, talin은 vinculin에 결합하여 α-actinin 및 actin 필라멘트와의 연결을 매개합니다. 이러한 상호작용을 통해 세포 외기질과 세포 내 미세섬유계의 연결을 담당합니다. VCL 유전자 변이는 확장성 심근병증(dilated cardiomyopathy 1W) 또는 가족성 비후성 심근병증(familial hypertrophic 15)을 유발할 수 있습니다.
