Target Information
TCF3 (E2A)는 배아 발생 중 근육 또는 초기 B세포 분화와 같은 조직 특이적 세포 운명 결정에 중요한 역할을 하는 전사 인자입니다.
E2A와 조직 특이적 basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) 단백질의 이합체는 E-box motif(5'-CANNTG-3')에 결합하며, kappa immunoglobulin 유전자 enhancer의 kappa-E2 site에 결합합니다.
E2A의 결실은 일부 전구 B세포 급성 림프모구 백혈병(B-ALL) 사례에서 관찰되었습니다.
두 가지 대체 스플라이싱된 인간 isoform이 보고되어 있습니다.
