Product Specific Information
This antibody binds human MAGEA3 and MAGEA6, but does not cross-react with other MAGE family members such as MAGE-A1, MAGE-A4, and MAGE-A10.
MAGE-A3 is a tumor-specific antigen expressed in multiple cancers, including melanoma, non-small cell lung cancer, and hematologic malignancies.
Target Information
The MAGEA gene family encodes proteins sharing 50–80% sequence identity.
Promoters and first exons show variability, allowing differential transcriptional regulation.
These genes are clustered at chromosomal location Xq28 and have been implicated in hereditary disorders such as dyskeratosis congenita.
