This antibody detects endogenous levels of total NFKBIL2 protein.
Target Information
The NFKBIL2 gene encodes a protein believed to act as a negative regulator of NF-kappa-B–mediated transcription. It may bind NF-kappa-B complexes and retain them in the cytoplasm, preventing nuclear translocation and DNA interaction. Phosphorylation of NFKBIL2 promotes its degradation via the ubiquitination pathway, releasing NF-kappa-B complexes to enter the nucleus.
