Reconstitution: 50 µL double distilled water (DDW), depending on the sample size. The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at −20°C.
The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at −20°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

Adgrb1 (BAI1) is a phosphatidylserine receptor that enhances the engulfment of apoptotic cells and acts as a potent inhibitor of angiogenesis in the brain. It may mediate p53 signaling in suppression of glioblastoma and function in cell adhesion and signal transduction.
Angiogenesis is regulated by a balance between stimulators and inhibitors of vessel growth and is essential for tumor growth and metastasis.
Adgrb1 contains a functional p53-binding site and is transcriptionally induced by wildtype p53. It belongs to the secretin receptor family and functions as an angiogenesis inhibitor and growth suppressor in glioblastomas.
