Target Information
Factor I is a serine protease and a regulatory component of both the alternative and classical complement pathways. It is synthesized as a single-chain precursor of 88 kDa and processed into the active form composed of two disulfide-linked chains: the a-chain (50 kDa) and the b-chain (38 kDa). Plasma concentration is approximately 35 µg/mL.
