Product Specific Information

The monoclonal antibody ALY7 recognizes mouse LYVE-1, a transmembrane glycoprotein similar to CD44. The extracellular domain contains a conserved hyaluronan-binding domain. LYVE-1 is expressed on lymphatic and liver endothelial cells and certain macrophage populations. It functions as part of the lymphatic system, which transports proteins and immune cells throughout the body.

Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometry using LYVE-1-transfected BAF3 cells. Recommended at ≤0.5 µg/test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Optimize concentration for specific assay conditions.

eFluor 450 is an alternative to Pacific Blue, excited at 405 nm and emitting at 446 nm. Ensure instrument compatibility with this fluorochrome.

Target Information

LYVE1 is a receptor for hyaluronan (HA) on lymphatic vessel walls. It encodes a 322-residue type I membrane protein similar to CD44, with a 212-residue extracellular domain containing a single Link module. Unlike CD44, LYVE1 is expressed specifically on lymphatic endothelium and absent from blood vessels, making it a key marker for lymphatic vessels. It is involved in leukocyte and tumor cell trafficking to lymph nodes and plays a role in lymphatic vascular biology. Dysfunctions in LYVE1 are associated with Complete Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome.
