Product Specific Information
The A20 monoclonal antibody reacts with the mouse CD45 molecule (leukocyte common antigen, LCA) in CD45.1-expressing mouse strains such as SJL/J, DA, STS/A, and RIII. CD45.1 is expressed by all leukocytes in these strains.

- Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. Recommended ≤ 0.5 µg per test in 100 µL final volume (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Antibody titration is recommended for optimal performance.

Target Information
CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed on all nucleated hematopoietic cells, constituting ~10% of surface proteins in lymphocytes. It regulates Src-family kinases, plays a role in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling, and exists as multiple isoforms due to alternative splicing. These isoforms vary in extracellular domains and membrane localization, influencing cell-type-specific expression. CD45 also modulates integrin-mediated signaling and apoptosis-related DNA fragmentation. CD45RA is one isoform with restricted expression among lymphoid subtypes.
