EZH2 (Histone-lysine N-methyltransferase)는 Polycomb-group (PcG) 단백질군의 구성원으로, 세포 세대에 걸쳐 유전자 발현 억제 상태를 유지하는 복합체를 형성합니다. 이 단백질은 embryonic ectoderm development 단백질, VAV1 oncoprotein, X-linked nuclear protein과 상호작용하며, 조혈계 및 중추신경계에서 역할을 할 수 있습니다. EZH2의 변이는 Weaver syndrome (WVS)을 유발할 수 있습니다.
