Target Information
CD19 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily with two Ig-like domains. It is expressed on 100% of peripheral B cells and can also appear on certain myeloid leukemia cells. CD19 serves as a key regulator of B cell proliferation and differentiation, functioning as a signal-amplifying coreceptor for the B cell receptor (BCR). It plays a central role in multiple signaling pathways related to immune response regulation. Mutations in CD19 can lead to hypogammaglobulinemia, while overexpression may cause B cell hyperactivity.
