Target Information

SARM1는 NAD(+) 가수분해 효소로, 손상 후 축삭 퇴화(axonal degeneration)에 중요한 역할을 하며 NAD(+) 대사를 조절합니다.
MYD88 및 TRIF 의존성 톨유사수용체 신호 경로의 음성 조절자로 작용하며, Wallerian degeneration을 촉진합니다.
손상 시 SARM1이 활성화되어 NAD(+)를 ADP-D-ribose, cyclic ADPR, nicotinamide로 절단하여 세포골격 분해 및 축삭 파괴를 유도합니다.
또한 NADP(+)를 가수분해할 수 있으며, 신경세포 스트레스 반응 시 세포 사멸을 유도합니다.
MAPK4-JNK 경로를 통해 수상돌기 가지화(dendritic arborization)를 조절하고, 선천면역 반응에서 TICAM1/TRIF 및 MYD88 의존 경로를 억제합니다.
