PLAC1은 세포막 관련 단백질로서 모체-태반 접합부에서 세포 간 또는 리간드-수용체 상호작용을 조절하는 수용체 유사 기능을 수행하는 것으로 추정됩니다.
PLAC1 발현 감소는 cyclin D1 및 AKT kinase 발현 감소와 관련이 있으며, 암세포 표면에서 발현되는 특성으로 인해 암 면역치료의 유망한 후보로 연구되고 있습니다.
