Product Specific Information
Description:
The 24DMS1 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD39 (NTPDaseI). E-NTPDases are enzymes that convert nucleoside tri- and diphosphates (NTDPs) into nucleoside monophosphates (NMPs), removing toxic extracellular ATP and ADP. CD39 is the dominant member in the immune system, involved in inflammation suppression and platelet activation control. CD39 can influence expression of CD73, another E-NTPase, and together they regulate inflammatory responses.
CD39 is expressed on B cells, Langerhans cells, and most monocytes, as well as a subset of CD4⁺ T cells (CD25⁺FoxP3⁺ Treg). CD39-deficient Treg cells show impaired suppressive properties in vitro and in vivo.

This antibody is reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. Recommended ≤0.5 µg/test (in 100 µL final volume). Optimal dilution should be titrated per assay.
Fluorochrome Information:
Super Bright 436 is excited with a 405 nm violet laser and emits at 436 nm. Recommended detection filter: 450/50 bandpass or equivalent. Verify instrument compatibility before use.
Staining Panel Recommendation:
When using multiple Super Bright dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Target Information
CD39 is a 70–100 kDa cell surface antigen expressed on peripheral blood B cells, monocytes, T cell clones, and weakly on granulocytes. It has intrinsic ecto-ATPase activity and is upregulated on T cells and B cells as a late activation antigen.
