Target Information
Hepatocyte nuclear factor 6 (HNF6)는 CUT homeobox 패밀리 단백질로, 전사 조절 인자입니다. CUT DNA 결합 도메인과 homeobox DNA 결합 도메인을 포함하며, 성인형 당뇨병(MODY) 발병에 관련된 여러 유전자의 상위 조절자로 작용합니다. HNF6는 FOXM1 전사인자 네트워크의 리간드이며, HNF4와 함께 간에서 유전자 발현을 조절합니다. 발달 과정에서 HNF6와 HNF4의 발현 수준은 점차 증가하며, 이들의 발현 조절은 g6pc 유전자의 발현 시점을 조절합니다.
