Target Information
ALAS-1은 미토콘드리아 매트릭스 효소로, glycine과 succinyl-CoA의 축합 반응을 촉매하여 δ-aminolevulinate, CO₂, CoA를 생성합니다. 이는 헴 생합성 경로의 첫 번째이자 속도 제한 단계로 작용하며, 헴 합성 및 생체 시계 조절과 관련이 있습니다. 간에서 ALAS1은 헴에 의해 음성 피드백 조절을 받으며, cAMP와 호흡 해리제에 의해 전사가 유도되고, phorbol ester와 인슐린에 의해 억제됩니다. 급성 간부전 시 ALAS1 발현이 감소하여 헴 대사와 간 기능에 영향을 미칠 수 있습니다.
