This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%) to avoid contamination.

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

This antibody has specificity for Human IL19/Interleukin-19.

Target Information

The IL19 gene encodes a cytokine belonging to the IL10 cytokine subfamily, predominantly expressed in monocytes. It binds to the IL20 receptor complex and activates STAT3 signaling. In mice, similar cytokines up-regulate IL6 and TNF-alpha expression and induce apoptosis, suggesting a role in inflammatory responses. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been described.
