Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
TET3 is a member of the ten-eleven-translocation (TET) gene family and functions as a methylcytosine dioxygenase, converting methylcytosine to 5-hydroxymethylcytosine. It is highly expressed in hematopoietic cells.
Unlike TET2, mutations in TET3 have not been observed in myeloid malignancies.
TET3 plays a role in DNA demethylation of zygotic DNA before the first mitosis and contributes to epigenetic reprogramming during fertilization and somatic cell nuclear reprogramming in cloning.
