For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the CD1 family of transmembrane glycoproteins, which are structurally related to MHC proteins and form heterodimers with beta-2-microglobulin. CD1 proteins mediate the presentation of lipid and glycolipid antigens to T cells. The human genome contains five CD1 family genes clustered on chromosome 1. CD1 family members differ in localization and specificity for lipid ligands. The encoded protein localizes to late endosomes and lysosomes and requires vesicular acidification to bind lipid antigens.
