Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
Thioredoxins (Trx) are small, multifunctional proteins with oxidoreductase activity and are ubiquitous in living cells. Trx contains a redox-active disulfide/dithiol group within the conserved Cys-Gly-Pro-Cys active site.
Key characteristics:
- Catalyzed reduction by Trx reductase using NADPH
- Acts as hydrogen donor for ribonucleotide reductase (essential for DNA synthesis)
- Functions as a general protein disulfide reductase
- Reduces targets such as protein disulfide-isomerase (PDI) and transcription factors (p53, NF-κB, AP-1)
- Removes H₂O₂ when coupled with methionine sulfoxide reductase or peroxiredoxins
