Target Information
MAVS는 바이러스 감염에 대한 숙주의 선천면역을 활성화하는 두 가지 주요 신호 경로 중 하나에서 중요한 역할을 하는 미토콘드리아 막 단백질입니다.
RIG-I 수용체를 통해 세포 내 이중가닥 RNA를 인식하고, IRF-3 및 NF-κB를 활성화시켜 IFN-β 신호 경로를 유도합니다.
또한 MAVS는 TLR 어댑터 단백질 TRIF, TRAF2, TRAF6 및 IKK-α, IKK-β, IKK-ι 키나아제와 상호작용합니다.
HCV 프로테아제에 의해 C-말단이 절단되면 MAVS 기능이 억제되어 바이러스가 면역 회피를 할 수 있습니다.
여러 MAVS 이소폼이 존재하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
