The A2F10 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD135, also known as Flk2/Flt3. This 135–150 kDa tyrosine kinase receptor is expressed by primitive progenitor cells in fetal liver and adult bone marrow. Two-color staining of adult mouse bone marrow cells with A2F10 and RA3-6B2 (CD45R/B220) or M1/70 (CD11b) reveals Flk-2-positive subpopulations of B cells or myeloid cells.
Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis and immunoprecipitation.
Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse bone marrow cells at ≤0.5 µg/test. Optimal performance requires titration for specific assay conditions.

Target Information
FLT3 is a tyrosine protein kinase belonging to the growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase family. Activation occurs via ligand binding to the extracellular domain, inducing homodimer formation and autophosphorylation. The activated receptor phosphorylates multiple cytoplasmic effectors involved in apoptosis, proliferation, and differentiation of hematopoietic cells. Constitutive activation mutations are associated with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
