This product is preservative-free. To avoid contamination, sodium azide may be added (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening of individual clones for optimal production.

IGF-binding proteins (IGF-BPs) regulate the distribution, function, and activity of IGFs in various tissues and body fluids.
IGF-BP6 specifically inhibits IGF-II actions and is produced by bone cells. It is the major IGF-BP in cerebrospinal fluid and has been shown to inhibit IGF-II-dependent cancers such as neuroblastoma, colon cancer, and rhabdomyosarcoma.
