Rat anti-Mouse TREM-2 antibody, clone 78.18 recognizes triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 2 (TREM-2), an activating receptor of the immunoglobulin superfamily.
Target Information
TREM2 is a membrane protein that forms a receptor signaling complex with TYROBP. It may be involved in chronic inflammation by triggering the production of constitutive inflammatory cytokines. Defects in this gene are associated with polycystic lipomembranous osteodysplasia with sclerosing leukoencephalopathy (PLOSL).
