Product Specific Information
- 1 µg/mL of MA5-45534 was sufficient for detection of GABA(B)R2 in 20 µg of rat brain membrane lysate by colorimetric immunoblot using goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as secondary antibody.
- Detects approximately 105 kDa.
- No cross-reactivity against GABA(B)R1.
- This antibody was formerly sold as clone S81-2.
Target Information
GABBR2는 G-protein coupled receptor 3 패밀리에 속하는 다중 통과막 단백질로, GABA-B 수용체 서브유닛 중 하나입니다. 이 수용체는 G 단백질 매개 2차 신호전달 체계를 통해 신경 활동을 억제하며, 신경전달물질 방출과 이온 채널, 아데닐산 사이클라아제의 활성을 조절합니다. GABA-B receptor subunit 1과 이합체를 형성해야 활성 상태가 되며, 단독으로는 기능하지 않습니다. 일부 대립유전자는 니코틴 의존성과 관련이 있습니다.
