Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% (as determined by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
The PSPH protein belongs to a subfamily of phosphotransferases and is responsible for the third and final step in L-serine formation. It catalyzes magnesium-dependent hydrolysis of L-phosphoserine and participates in an exchange reaction between L-serine and L-phosphoserine. Deficiency in this protein is thought to be linked to Williams syndrome.
