Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is an accessory subunit of the heterodimeric receptor for IL18. It enhances IL18 binding activity of IL18R1 (IL1RRP), a ligand-binding subunit of the IL18 receptor. Coexpression of IL18R1 and this protein is required for activation of NF-kappaB and MAPK8 (JNK) in response to IL18.
