This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal candidates for production.

This antibody has specificity for Human Coagulation Factor XI/F11.
Target Information
The gene encodes coagulation factor XI, a plasma zymogen existing as a homodimer linked by disulfide bonds. Upon activation by factor XIIa, it becomes factor XIa, a serine protease composed of two heavy and two light chains. Activated factor XIa initiates the middle phase of the intrinsic pathway of blood coagulation by activating factor IX.
Defects in this factor lead to Rosenthal syndrome, a blood coagulation abnormality.
