Product Specific Information
The MIH5 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse B7-H1 (PD-L1), a member of the B7 family (~40 kDa) belonging to the Ig superfamily. It is expressed on T, B, NK, and dendritic cells and serves as a ligand for PD-1. The MIH5 clone functions as a blocking antibody.

- Applications Tested: Mouse splenocytes, ≤ 0.25 µg/test (100 µL total volume)
- Recommended titration: Optimize empirically for cell numbers (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test)
Fluorochrome Information:
Brilliant Ultra Violet™ 661 (BUV661) emits at 660 nm and is suitable for cytometers with a 355 nm UV laser. Ensure instrument compatibility.

Target Information
Programmed death receptor ligand 1 (PD-L1, B7-H1) binds to PD-1, negatively regulating T-cell receptor signaling and reducing proliferation and cytokine production. PD-L1 expression is abundant in murine and human cancers and upregulated by IFN-γ, suggesting a role in tumor immune evasion.
