For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The Ras-related superfamily of guanine nucleotide binding proteins includes R-Ras, Rap, Ral/Rec, and Rho/Rab subfamilies. Rab proteins are involved in endocytosis and biosynthetic protein transport. They facilitate the movement of carrier vesicles from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi complex and secretory vesicles.

Rab23 (also known as HSPC137) is a 237 amino acid protein localized on the cytoplasmic side of the cell membrane. It plays a role in intracellular protein transport and GTPase-mediated signal transduction. Mutations in the RAB23 gene are associated with Carpenter syndrome (ACPS2), characterized by obesity, cardiac defects, polysyndactyly, and craniosynostosis.
