Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Syntaxins are a family of proteins involved in the fusion of synaptic vesicles with the plasma membrane. They are broadly distributed across tissues and contain carboxy-terminal hydrophobic domains that target specific intracellular compartments.
Syntaxin 18 primarily localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and functions in transport between the ER and Golgi apparatus. It also participates in ER-mediated phagocytosis by regulating the fusion of ER and plasma or phagosomal membranes.
