Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional round of desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Osteopontin is an RGD-containing glycoprotein that interacts with integrins and CD44 as major receptors. It plays roles in bone mineralization, cell adhesion, cell migration, and inflammatory disease processes. Proteolytic cleavage by thrombin and matrix metalloproteinases modulates its integrin-binding properties. Thrombin-cleaved fragments are overexpressed in malignant glial tumors, contributing to tumor survival and providing substrates for plasmin and cathepsin D.
