For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

This intronless gene was likely generated by retrotransposition of a fully processed PCBP-2 mRNA.
PCBP1 and PCBP-2 have paralogues arising from gene duplication events. The encoded protein is multifunctional and, together with PCBP-2 and hnRNPK, forms major cellular polydomains involved in RNA binding.
PCBP1 acts as a translational coactivator of poliovirus RNA via interaction with stem-loop IV of the IRES and enhances RNA replication by binding to its 5′-terminal cloverleaf structure.
It is also implicated in translational control of 15-lipoxygenase mRNA, HPV type 16 L2 mRNA, and hepatitis A virus RNA, and contributes to formation of a sequence-specific alpha-globin mRNP complex associated with mRNA stability.
