Target Information
Glucocorticoid Receptor (NR3C1)은 글루코코르티코이드의 수용체로, 전사인자(transcription factor)로 작용하거나 다른 전사인자의 조절인자로 기능할 수 있습니다.
이 수용체는 평소 세포질에 존재하지만 리간드 결합 시 핵으로 이동합니다. 심장(좌/우 심방, 심실, 대동맥, 심첨부, 중격, 방실결절 등)에서 발현이 확인되었으며, 다양한 프로모터와 스플라이싱을 통해 여러 isoform이 생성됩니다.
NR3C1 유전자의 돌연변이는 글루코코르티코이드 저항성(cortisol resistance)의 원인이 될 수 있습니다.
활성화된 GR은 샤페론 단백질 복합체와 연합하며, 덱사메타손(dexamethasone) 등 스테로이드와 나노몰 농도 수준의 친화도로 결합합니다.
