beta-3 Adrenergic Receptor는 주로 지방 조직(adipose tissue)에 존재하며, 지방분해(lipolysis) 및 열발생(thermogenesis)의 조절에 관여합니다.
이 수용체는 에피네프린과 노르에피네프린에 의해 G 단백질을 통한 아데닐산 사이클라아제(adenylate cyclase)의 활성화를 매개합니다.
