Target Information
Histone H3는 모든 진핵세포의 크로마틴에서 발견되는 DNA 결합 단백질 중 하나입니다. H3를 포함한 네 가지 핵심 히스톤 단백질은 DNA와 결합하여 뉴클레오솜 구조를 형성합니다. 히스톤은 전사 조절, DNA 복구, 복제 및 염색체 안정성에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 번역 후 변형을 통해 크로마틴 구조를 직접 변경하거나 특정 전사 인자의 결합을 가능하게 합니다. H3의 N-말단 꼬리는 다양한 번역 후 변형을 거칠 수 있으며, 이는 세포 내 여러 과정을 조절합니다. 이러한 변형에는 리신 및 아르기닌 잔기에 메틸 또는 아세틸 그룹의 결합, 세린 또는 트레오닌의 인산화가 포함됩니다.
