Target Information
Adiponectin은 지방세포(adipocytes)에서만 분비되는 단백질 호르몬으로, 지질 및 포도당 대사를 조절합니다. 이 단백질은 항상성 유지 및 비만과 관련된 다양한 생리학적 과정에 관여합니다.
비만, 인슐린 저항성 및 고인슐린혈증(제2형 당뇨병) 환자에서는 Adiponectin 수치가 감소하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
마우스 모델에서는 Adiponectin이 인슐린 신호 전달을 향상시켜 인슐린 저항성을 완화시키는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
AMP kinase 및 PPAR-alpha 활성화를 통해 지방산 운반, 산화, 소모를 증가시켜 근육 내 지방 축적을 감소시키고 인슐린 신호를 개선합니다.
