Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human SIRP alpha, SIRP beta 1, and recombinant mouse SIRP alpha is observed.
- Reconstitute in sterile PBS to a final concentration of 0.2 mg/mL.
Target Information
SIRP gamma (CD172g) recognizes a 55 kDa signal regulatory protein belonging to the immunoglobulin gene superfamily. It is expressed on most T lymphocytes and a subset of B-cells but is absent on myeloid cells. CD172g has a truncated cytoplasmic tail similar to SIRP beta, but unlike SIRP beta, it does not require DAP12 for expression at the cell surface. Like SIRP alpha, CD172g binds to CD47 inducing apoptosis and is involved in the negative regulation of receptor tyrosine kinase-coupled signalling.
