Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They consist of multiple recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, and offering the consistency of recombinant production.

Functionally similar to polyclonal antibodies—recognizing multiple epitope sites and providing higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets—these antibodies have a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, ensuring reproducibility across lots and eliminating biological variability.

Target Information

AGO1 is a member of the Argonaute protein family involved in RNA interference. The protein contains a PAZ and a PIWI domain, interacts with Dicer1, and plays a role in siRNA-mediated gene silencing. AGO1 binds to miRNAs or siRNAs and represses mRNA translation.
