Target Information
GCG는 GLP1 또는 Glucagon으로도 알려져 있습니다. Glucagon은 29개의 아미노산으로 구성된 췌장 호르몬으로, 인슐린의 혈당 저하 작용에 반대하여 글리코겐 분해 및 포도당 신생을 자극합니다.
GLP1은 preproglucagon 분자의 7–37 코돈에 의해 인코딩되며, 췌장 베타세포를 ‘glucose-competent’ 상태로 만들어 비인슐린 의존성 당뇨병 치료에 유용할 수 있습니다. 또한 GLP1은 강력한 인슐린 분비 촉진제로서 장-췌장 축(enteroinsular axis)에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
