Target Information
Fatty acid synthase (FASN)는 다기능 단백질로, acetyl-CoA와 malonyl-CoA로부터 NADPH 존재 하에 palmitate를 합성하여 긴 사슬 포화 지방산을 생성합니다. 일부 암세포주에서는 FASN이 estrogen receptor-alpha (ER-alpha)와 융합되어 N-말단 FAS가 ER-alpha의 C-말단과 in-frame으로 연결된 형태로 존재하기도 합니다.
