Target Information
AMMECR1 유전자의 정확한 기능은 알려져 있지 않으나, X 염색체의 미세 결실로 이 유전자와 COL4A5, FACL4가 함께 결손될 경우 AMME 복합체(Alport 증후군, 정신지체, 중안면 저형성, 타원적혈구증)를 유발하는 연속 유전자 결실 증후군이 발생합니다.
이 유전자는 서로 다른 아이소폼을 암호화하는 대체 스플라이싱 전사체 변형을 포함합니다.
