Target Information
CHIP(Carboxyl terminus of hsc70-interacting protein)은 hsc70 및 hsp70과 상호작용하는 35 kDa의 세포질 단백질로, 주로 횡문근에서 발현되며 다양한 조직에서 광범위하게 존재합니다. CHIP은 hsc70과 hsp70의 ATPase 활성을 감소시켜 샤페론 효율을 낮추며, U-box 도메인을 가진 E3 ubiquitin-ligase로서 ubiquitin-proteasome 시스템에서 중요한 역할을 수행합니다.
