Target Information
Skp2 (S-phase Kinase-associated Protein 2)는 Cyclin A-Cdk2 복합체와 상호작용하는 F-box 단백질 계열에 속합니다. Skp2는 변형된 세포와 정상 섬유아세포 모두에서 G1-S 전환에 필수적입니다. 생화학적 및 유전학적 연구에서 Skp2가 p27의 유비퀴틴화 및 분해에 필요함이 확인되었습니다. 정상 조직에서는 편도와 태반에서 발현되며, 종양 조직에서는 폐, 유방, 난소, 자궁내막암 등 다양한 암에서 높은 수준으로 발현됩니다. Skp2는 특히 림프종 및 유방암의 발병 기전에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
