This monoclonal antibody reacts specifically with HA-tagged fusion proteins. Reactivity with various HA-tagged fusion proteins has been confirmed by western blotting; positive control used were HA-tagged JNK-1 transfected cell lysates.
Target Information
HA Tag (hemagglutinin tag) is an epitope tag used to localize gene products in various cell types, study protein topology and complexes, identify associated proteins, and characterize low abundance or poorly immunogenic proteins when specific antibodies are unavailable. HA (hemagglutinin) is derived from influenza hemagglutinin and is commonly expressed as a tag to aid identification and purification of tagged proteins for functional analysis. HA tag antibodies facilitate protein detection or co-immunoprecipitation of tagged proteins.
