Product Specific Information

The FR70 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD70, a 30–33 kDa type II transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the TNF family. CD70 is expressed by activated mouse T and B lymphocytes. Interaction of CD70 with CD27, its ligand on T cells, is important for T–B cell crosstalk and plays a role in costimulation and immune regulation.

• Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of LPS-stimulated mouse splenocytes. Recommended ≤1 µg per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number may range from 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Titrate for optimal performance.

Target Information

CD70 is a cytokine belonging to the TNF ligand family and acts as a ligand for TNFRSF27/CD27. It is expressed on activated, but not resting, T and B lymphocytes. CD70 induces proliferation of costimulated T cells, enhances cytolytic T cell generation, and contributes to T cell activation. It also regulates B-cell activation, NK cell cytotoxic function, and immunoglobulin synthesis.
