Product Specific Information
- Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.
- Ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature; store at -20°C upon arrival.
- Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
- Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
- Centrifuge antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).
Target Information
The Dopamine Transporter (DAT) is responsible for the reaccumulation of dopamine after release. DAT antibodies and those targeting catecholamine biosynthesis markers are widely used to identify dopaminergic and noradrenergic neurons in studies related to depression, schizophrenia, Parkinson’s disease, and drug abuse.
