For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments with this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CDH4 is a classical cadherin belonging to the cadherin superfamily. It encodes a calcium-dependent cell-cell adhesion glycoprotein with five extracellular cadherin repeats, a transmembrane region, and a conserved cytoplasmic tail.
Studies in chicken and mouse suggest its role in brain segmentation and neuronal outgrowth, as well as kidney and muscle development.
Notably, cadherins 2 and 4 form stable cis-heterodimers in cotransfected cell lines, providing evidence of heterodimerization.
Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
