Target Information
PACSIN 2 is a 486-amino-acid phosphoprotein and a member of the PACSIN family of cytoplasmic adapter proteins. It contains a CDC15 N-terminal domain, a C-terminal SH3 domain, three conserved PACSIN-specific regions, and three NPF (asn-pro-phe) motifs that may bind EH domains.
This protein shows ubiquitous expression, with the highest levels in the brain. PACSIN 2 is involved in actin cytoskeleton organization, vesicular trafficking regulation, endocytic internalization, and receptor recycling.
